One and a half years after the start of TOPGEAR in August 2021, it was finally possible again to meet in person. Manifold inspirations and well as sparking off new ideas was one of the resulting key benefits. For this 3rd consortium meeting, Sidenor, the coordinator, invited all partners to Bilbao to discuss results achieved so far.

 

Special focus was for example put on implemented microstructure and machining investigations. Furthermore good input was given on the process routes of the different steel grades studied that will be used e.g. for the LCA activities in TOPGEAR. Also next steps to be taken were harmonized and a great social evening rounded off this successful meeting.
